Update the template
Keep your content while integrating upstream changes.
Template copies do not synchronize automatically and are not independently upgradeable npm themes.
- Commit and back up configuration, posts, data, and styles.
- Compare upstream theme and dependency changes on a separate branch; integrate the changes you need.
- Check, build, and preview. Review content and old URLs before publishing.
Template and upstream histories may be independent; do not force unrelated histories together.
