Troubleshooting
Diagnose path, component, and resource errors.
Missing images or styles
Check site, base, and asset paths for repeated prefixes. Put assets in public/ and omit public in URLs. Refresh deployed subdirectory pages directly.
Components appear as text
Use .mdx and JSX expressions for booleans and objects. Separate complex Markdown from tags with blank lines. Do not paste Hugo shortcodes into posts.
Duplicate route / Missing page data
Check url, slug, aliases, and system paths for collisions. data names a file in src/data/ without .json; a missing file fails the build.
External components fail to load
Check browser requests, feature flags, and theme.cdn. A successful build does not establish API availability. Test empty responses, error states, and theme changes with your service.
Report a problem
Include reproduction steps, Node/pnpm versions, relevant configuration, browser details, and logs in an Astro issue.
