URLs and redirects

Posts default to /p/content-id/; pages default to /content-id/. Precedence is url → slug → file identifier.

slug: hello
url: /notes/hello.html
aliases:
  - /old-hello/
  - /2025/hello.html

The canonical URL is /notes/hello.html; both aliases generate static redirect pages.

Use absolute internal paths without queries, fragments, backslashes, or ..; do not repeat base. Conflicts between content, aliases, and system routes fail the build.

Static redirect pages are not HTTP 301 responses. Configure HTTP redirects on your host when needed.
