window.Solitude exposes navigate, refresh, copy, toggleTheme, loadScript, loadStyle, on, listen, and onPageCleanup.

Lifecycle

const stop = window.Solitude.on('afterNavigate', () => {
  console.log('Page ready');
});

// Remove the subscription when your extension is disposed.
// stop();

window.Solitude.onPageCleanup(() => {
  // Dispose page-scoped third-party instances here.
});

on returns an unsubscribe function. Events include ready, beforeNavigate, afterNavigate, and themeChange. Use the API after the theme runtime is ready. Dispose page instances and listeners before navigation to avoid duplicate bindings.

Edition differences

Astro navigation uses Astro View Transitions. Do not copy Hugo or Hexo PJAX instance operations or use compatibility aliases as new extension APIs.
